Debut of the Florestan in High End Munich 2023 Verity Audio, March 30, 2023

Verity Audio announces the introduction of the New Florestan Loudspeaker System at High-End Munich 2023.

Quebec, Canada – Verity Audio is pleased to announce the introduction of the new Florestan loudspeaker system. This new member of the Verity Audio eXR product family offers an ultra-wide bandwidth that extends well beyond 60 kHz in the high frequency range and reaches down to 20 Hz in the low frequencies.

The Florestan is a wide bandwidth 3-way loudspeaker that features a two inches pure ribbon tweeter, a proprietary 6-inch (15 cm) midrange transducer, and a new 11-inch (28 cm) woofer driver. The ribbon tweeter is one of the main highlights of the Florestan. It is a Verity Audio Reference ribbon tweeter that offers an uncontaminated summation of harmonics, revealing all the richness of even the most complex sonic textures. The midrange and woofer drivers are also of exceptional quality, using custom-made special-geometry mineral-filled polypropylene and carbon paper sandwich-type cones, respectively.

The new Florestan uses Verity Audio’s unique rear-oriented bass reflex tuning and a semi-open-back configuration for a cleaner midrange reproduction and a three-dimensional soundstage. The anti-resonance cabinet construction, achieved through a dedicated array of inner reinforcements and complex-angled panels, ensures the proper dissipation of inner energy and lifetime reliability and accuracy.

“We are thrilled to introduce the new Florestan loudspeaker system to the public,” said Julien Pelchat, Verity Audio’s founder and CEO. “The Florestan is the culmination of our extensive research and development efforts, and we are confident that it will set a new standard in high-end loudspeakers. With its wide bandwidth, exceptional drivers, and anti-resonance cabinet construction, the Florestan will offer a truly unforgettable listening experience.”

The new Florestan loudspeaker system will be officially introduced at High End Munich 2023, one of the world’s most prestigious audio shows, which will take place from May 18 to 21, 2023. I also analyzed and modified three or four times that number of commercial phonos for friends and clients.
