New phono cartridge TDC01 Dia with Tapered Pipe Diamond Cantilever TechDAS, April 11, 2024

Crafting a tapered pipe shape from diamond demanded precision and innovation. After three years of research and development, this was achieved by state-of-the-art laser processing technology.

Taking advantage of the diamond’s sonic transmission speed, this MC cartridge has no loss of energy and picks up even the most minute signals allowing delivery of every detail embedded in the groove, from the most subtle nuance to the most powerful slam.

The tapered pipe shape makes the diamond cantilever much lighter in weight, which leads to enhanced trackability and enables the reproduction of a lively and three-dimensional sound.

Major features

  • The world’s first tapered pipe diamond cantilever in the industry.
  • The tapered pipe shape leads to extremely high rigidity and low mass, with highly controlled flexing. This ensures enhanced tracking ability, enabling lively and three-dimensional sound reproduction.
  • The signature TechDAS egg-shaped housing, machined from solid titanium and treated for surface hardening, provides a robust platform to capture all the energy from the record groove.
  • A high sound-to-noise ratio delivers outstanding details and clarity.
