Speaker maker Harbeth Audio Ltd. is pleased to present its first digital concept loudspeaker - the M40-D™ - at this year’s Hi-Fi Bristol Show.
At the heart of the new concept M40-D™ loudspeaker is Harbeth's drive unit mastery. Through pioneering work in the development of loudspeaker diaphragm material science, the company set a new benchmark with its acclaimed RADIAL cone technology: a true revolution in clarity and detail from a loudspeaker drive unit.
To maximise the performance potential of its material science, Harbeth has now introduced digital technology to its existing models. With the power and capability of Digitial Signal Processing (DSP), the design team have the ability to adjust the smallest of sonic details in the Harbeth-made drive units - delivering the pinnacle of loudspeaker audio reproduction.
Alan Shaw, Designer and Managing Director, commented on the announcement: "The M40-D™ concept is a masterpiece of loudspeaker design. In fact, it crystalises all of our development work over the past 45 years."
"The development effort we’ve invested in DSP will certainly trickle down to our passive loudspeaker range, with their latent performance potential fully realised. It’s truly exciting to see how far we can push the boundaries in loudspeaker performance." Alan added. *For further details on the Harbeth M40-D™, please visit the Harbeth User Group.
